Gate Metering
The meters through which the flow of energy from the distribution network to the embedded network is measured are generally referred to as gate meters in the national energy market.
Electricity retail contracts are negotiated at the gate meter level. Gate meters may only be installed and operated under the authority of a Metering Coordinator such as Metropolis.
Small Generator Metering
Through Metropolis we install, maintain and operate the latest smart metering technologies compatible with solar, wind, biogas and energy storage systems to monitor and improve performance.
Sub-Metering
The meters through which the flow of energy to each tenancy is measured are referred to as sub-meters. We analyse each site and provide you the most cost effective sub-metering solution for tenancy metering.
Solar, Battery & Car Charge Metering
Metropolis can install, maintain and operate the latest smart metering technologies compatible with solar generation, battery charge and discharge, and electric vehicle charging technologies.
Hot Water Metering
Metropolis can install, maintain and operate the latest technologies to measure and record water flow and electricity usage to heat water and hydronic heating systems.
